The Contract Administrator Co-Op would get to work in our fast-paced Contracts organization. The Contracts Department manages all contractual responsibilities for CAES Lansdale. • Work collaboratively with functional departments to coordinate the proper execution of contracts, compliance, and performance elements. • Research and analyze historical data and contract execution strategies to support project performance and proposal efforts. • Participate with other contracts professionals in review of the proposal submission requirements and development of a pricing strategy/approach in responding to government requests for quote. • Utilize analytical, verbal, and written communication skills to work closely with internal project managers, external Government and other contractor contract professionals . • Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information. • Utilize MS Office Suite (emphasis on Word) and other tools as necessary.
Minimum:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Business discipline, Law, or related field.
- Must be comfortable with MS Office Suite with an emphasis on Word.
- Interest in learning more about contracts administration in the defense industry.
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
