JOB SUMMARY:

Provides exceptional customer service to casino guests. Pays out jackpots, makes change, gives promotional and property information, encourages enrollment in our Total Rewards program and serves as a brand ambassador. Builds relationships with the guests through constant interaction on the casino floor.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS :

  • With a friendly, upbeat and positive attitude, walks assigned section greeting guests, initiating conversation, celebrating wins, resolving issues, answering questions, as well as listening to the radio in order to anticipate business activity.
  • Assist guests in all aspects of a slot machine-related/bill changer problem regardless of assigned section
  • Knowledgeable and stays abreast of all machine types and locations.
  • Maintain the integrity of slot machine equipment and secure all company assets, including assigned bankroll, and property at all times.
  • As directed, properly utilize the dispatch system to improve guest service and align our service strategy with performance goals.
  • Observe and adhere to Indiana Gaming Commission rules and regulations, as well as company and departmental policies and procedures that pertain to job duties.
  • Responsible for the security of keys, radio, and SDS cards from check-in to check-out.
  • Respond and communicate via radio equipment.
  • Responsible for completing all required regulatory and company operational logs/forms correctly.
  • Partners with casino technical management, and slot management to ensure all casino equipment is in proper working order and all guest needs are met.
  • Partners with team members from other departments in providing the slot department guests with currency, beverage, and host services.
  • Shares information and benefits of our loyalty program with the guests. Provides replacement loyalty cards for guests, or directs new guests to the loyalty center to obtain a card.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one-year of customer service experience is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be at least 21 years of age or older. Must be able to perform basic math calculations, successfully complete a math assessment, as well as a Slot Attendant Panel Interview/Service Simulation. Must be well groomed, professional, and have excellent communication skills. Great interpersonal skills, cheerful attitude, and team player are required. Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time (minimum of four hours).
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency while performing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the casino; from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
  • Must be able to lift, carry and/or push a minimum of 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, turn, push, pull, grasp objects and the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
