Job Title: Food Runner/ Server Assistant
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Runner/Server Assistant to join our team at Caesars Southern Indiana. As a Food Runner/Server Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting servers with food and water for guests, cleaning and resetting tables in the dining room, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist servers with delivering food and water to guests in a timely manner.
- Clean and reset tables in the dining room to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
- Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive, friendly, and responsive to guest needs.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to effectively communicate with guests.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure seamless service and meet guest expectations.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support the success of the restaurant.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Previous restaurant experience preferred.
- Must possess basic food knowledge and be able to learn and understand menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Environment:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and move throughout the restaurant.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and push a minimum of 40 pounds.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises, and bright lights.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
