Server Assistant - Food Runner

Responsibilities:

• Support servers by expediting food and drink orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Develop relationships with guests and colleagues to create a positive atmosphere.
• Participate in pre-shift and post-shift meetings to stay informed and aligned with team goals.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and resetting equipment.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and presentation is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Sitting and/or standing for extended periods (minimum four hours).
• Occasional lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Frequent exposure to secondhand smoke, dust, and loud noises.
• Varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
