Job Description
As a Delivery Manager, you will act as a leader for two to three Scrum teams, ensuring effective delivery of high-quality solutions while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Tech Leads, Engineers, and stakeholders to remove impediments, track progress, and ensure Agile practices are followed to drive successful delivery.
This role will be hybrid in the Jersey City, NJ office 3 times per week. Candidates must also be willing to travel on-site to complete onboarding orientation as dictated by the hiring team.

As a Delivery Manager, you will act as a leader for two to three Scrum teams, ensuring effective delivery of high-quality solutions while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. What You Will Do
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Act as a coach for the team, ensuring Agile principles and practices are effectively adopted and sustained.
- Track team velocity and progress using Jira and ensure visibility of team performance through dashboards and reports.
- Partner with Product Managers to ensure a well-groomed backlog with clearly defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Monitor sprint commitments and ensure the team delivers value within agreed timeframes.
- Identify, document, and address risks, dependencies, and blockers impacting delivery.
- Ensure timely communication of project updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
- Support team members in resolving conflicts, addressing challenges, and maintaining high morale.
- Facilitate retrospectives and follow through on action items.
- Analyze team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and quality.
- Use team performance metrics to inform commitments and set reasonable expectations for delivery.
- Advocate for and implement process enhancements to streamline delivery and improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with other Delivery Managers to share best practices and ensure consistency across teams.
- Support the team in release management activities, including participation in the release process or deploying releases for services.
- 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Manager, or in a similar role.
- Experience with Technical Project Management, Product Management, or Software Engineering a plus.
- Strong familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong familiarity with release management activities, including CICD, TDD, and feature flags.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects in a high-growth, technology-driven environment to customers.
- Hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Design.
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with coaching teams on Agile practices, including Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills with a focus on driving outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
