The Assistant Property Manager plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our property management team. The Assistant Property Manager will assist in maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies.
Duties
- Assist in the leasing process by showing units to prospective tenants and conducting follow-ups.
- Manage tenant communications, addressing inquiries and resolving conflicts promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry, ensuring all tenant information is up-to-date in the property management system.
- Implement effective customer relationship management strategies to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations in all leasing activities and tenant interactions.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to coordinate repairs and upkeep of the property.
- Maintain current delinquency notes in Entrata.
- Collect money from previous residents.
- Walk move out apartments and prepare financial move out statements.
- Assist in marketing efforts to promote available units, utilizing sales techniques to attract potential tenants.
- Utilize Entrata for tracking applications, leases, and tenant communications.
Skills
- Strong phone etiquette for effective communication with tenants and vendors.
- Proficient in data entry with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations to ensure compliance in all leasing practices.
- Sales skills to effectively market properties and close lease agreements.
- Conflict management abilities to handle tenant disputes professionally and effectively.
- Experience in customer relationship management to foster positive interactions with residents.
- Understanding of contract administration related to property leasing agreements.
- Proficiency in using property management software such as Entrata is preferred.
