We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders and enter them into the Aloha POS system efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any needs or concerns promptly.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, particularly in fine dining establishments.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Familiarity with culinary terms and menu items to provide informed recommendations.
- Experience using POS systems, particularly Square, is a plus but not required as training will be provided.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A team player who is willing to help colleagues as needed to ensure smooth operations.
