Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to greet guests warmly, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of service in our restaurant. Duties

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage the seating chart and coordinate reservations to optimize table turnover.
• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items and restaurant policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Provide excellent customer service by anticipating guest needs and preferences.
• Support the restaurant team during busy periods by assisting with guest services as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude.
• Familiarity with POS systems and Open Table reservations is a plus but can be learned on the job.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
• A passion for guest relations and creating memorable dining experiences.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
