We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join the opening culinary team at Café Fiorello DC. This is a rare opportunity to help launch the next chapter of a legendary New York institution—now arriving in the heart of the nation’s capital.
What You’ll Do:

Support the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring consistent food quality and presentation.

Lead and mentor a diverse culinary team, promoting collaboration, efficiency, and high performance.

Ensure proper execution of classic Italian recipes while maintaining high standards for cleanliness, food safety, and prep.

Play a key role in pre-opening planning, training, setup, and ongoing kitchen development.

Uphold our core values of respect, integrity, and passion for hospitality at every service.
What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a fast-paced, upscale kitchen, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, with a genuine love for food and culinary excellence.

Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in high-volume environments.

Proficiency in kitchen operations, ordering, inventory, and sanitation protocols.
