Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems, including Aloha POS.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are fresh and presented attractively.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and communicate needs to management for timely restocking.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or café setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and understanding retail math concepts.
- Familiarity with food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Experience using cash registers or POS systems is a plus; familiarity with Aloha POS is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage offerings.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
