Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to uphold culinary standards and foster a positive work environment.
- Plan and develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage food waste effectively.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Maintain high standards of presentation for all dishes served to guests.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service management or restaurant management, preferably in a fine dining setting.
