In 2003, Michael and Jeniphur Pasquarello opened Café Lift, housed in a historic, refurbished factory in Philadelphia’s Callowhill neighborhood. In September of 2022, they brought Café Lift to downtown Haddonfield.
Open 8am-3pm daily, Café Lift Haddonfield provides the same excellent and legendary brunch-focused food to South Jersey. The menu evolves seasonally, and all ingredients are sourced from responsible growers, and hyper-locally whenever possible. Café Lift proudly serves quality coffee drinks, expertly prepared with roasted beans created by the owner and a local roaster. With superb food, remarkable beverages, warm service, and an amazing location, Café Lift Haddonfield is sure to be a hit! We are currently looking to fill the following positions:
Barista ($10 per hour plus tips)
Job Duties:
-Brewing coffee and tea daily throughout the shift.
-Operating our espresso machine and producing coffee drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos, and macchiatos in a timely manner.
-Serving guests at our 4-seat Counter.
-Preparing large batches of cold brew coffee, chai, and other beverages.
-Maintaining a clean and neat workspace.
-Rotating stock to ensure product freshness.
-Ownership of station.
-Communicating with fellow FOH staff, our kitchen team, management, and guests.
-Thorough closing responsibilities to ensure cleanliness.
Skills:
-Working knowledge of how Espresso machines operate.
-Ability to produce a large number of drinks in a timely manner.
-Knowledge about coffee, espresso, and tea.
-Friendly and kind to both guests and coworkers.
-Latte Art abilities are not required, but they're pretty rad!
