Cafe Mado is seeking experienced, passionate Assistant Servers to join our team!
Redwood Hospitality is seeking Assistant Servers to join the team at Cafe Mado. Cafe Mado will be the third project from Michelin-starred Redwood Hospitality, after Oxalis, Place des Fêtes and Laurel Bakery. Cafe Mado is a cafe/restaurant located in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, and will serve a seated lunch and dinner in the Atrium and Dining Room, with coffee, Laurel Bakery pastries, breakfast items and pre-prepared foods offered in the front room of the restaurant.
Cafe Mado is looking for individuals who are passionate about building their hospitality experience and supporting a busy, all-day cafe. Assistant Servers will support the needs of the Server staff, maintaining tables, running food, polishing glassware and more. Service will include lunch as well as dinner service.
The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:
- 1-2 years Backwaiter/Assistant Server/Food Runner experience in NYC or another major city
- Open availability and a flexible schedule
- A genuine passion for hospitality
- Strong work ethic and a team-player attitude
