Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Food Runner / Busser / Dishwasher. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering food promptly, keeping the dining area clean and welcoming, and maintaining the kitchen by washing dishes during weekday shifts. You will play a vital role in upholding our commitment to excellence, teamwork, and safety in all areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Running:
- Deliver orders to guests with accuracy, speed, and a positive attitude.
- Ensure orders are complete with the correct sides, sauces, and accompaniments.
- Communicate any issues or delays to the kitchen or guests as needed.
- Bussing Tables:
- Clear tables promptly, clean and reset them for new guests.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area by wiping down surfaces and keeping floors tidy.
- Assist with light table service, such as refilling water or offering additional napkins.
- Dishwashing:
- Wash and sanitize all dishware, cookware, and utensils using an industrial dishwasher.
- Ensure dishes are properly organized and stored.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing station.
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required
Work Schedule:
- This position is primarily for weekday shifts.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
