What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Manager position at Cafe Spice?
We are looking for a Facilities Manager in a high volume food manufacturing facility responsible for the direct repairs/maintenance, as well as overseeing and managing the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective operations. Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols. Plan and execute maintenance projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and minimize downtime. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders equipment logs, and inventory. Experience with food processing, packaging machines, refrigeration, HVAC, and high-pressure boilers is a must
Essential Duties:
· Plan and coordinates all installations and refurbishments.
· Maintains and updates the preventative maintenance program
· Managing all vendor contracts.
· Ensuring efficiency of all building systems.
· Maintains adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary.
· Coordinates site safety programs.
· Maintaining a safe work environment for all employees
· Ensuring all processes and compliance programs are met
· Managing facilities planning and space allocation
· Preparing cost estimates for moves and equipment
· Coordinating with department heads and building contractors
· Managing maintenance of grounds
· Ensuring all utility systems are inspected and in accordance with regulations
· Negotiating bids and contracts for third party workers
· Coordinating building security and maintenance services
· Managing and supervising all sanitation/facilities personnel
· Overseeing all building functions.
· Determine work procedures, preparing employee work schedules and expediting workflow.
· Ensure that all employees are in compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations and other company related policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; possess strong interpersonal skills; Ability to communicate clearly, both written and orally, as to communicate with employees, and vendors; Ability to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze information; Prioritize and plans work activities as to use time efficiently; Organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality; ERP experience.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
