Who You Are
The Sanitation Manager supports Cafe Valley by overseeing all sanitation activities in our bakery manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and leading a dedicated team of sanitation professionals.

Responsibilities What You Will Do
Develop, implement, and maintain sanitation programs to ensure compliance with standardsSupervise and train sanitation staff to ensure proper cleaning and sanitization of equipment, production lines, and facility areasInspect and audit sanitation processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actionsManage sanitation schedules to minimize downtime while maintaining cleanliness and production efficiencyCollaborate with Quality Assurance, Operations, and Maintenance teams to ensure food safety and quality standards are metMaintain detailed records of sanitation activities, including chemical usage, cleaning schedules, and inspection reportsStay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to food manufacturing sanitationEnsure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and other safety protocolsMonitor and manage labor, supplies, and equipmentPerform all related duties as required; related duties may not be specifically listed but are within the general occupational responsibility level typically associated with the employee’s classification of workRequired Skills What You Need to Be Successful
Ability to work with or around bakery allergens of all typesAt least 5 years of food manufacturing sanitation leadership experienceIn-depth knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., FSMA, FDA, USDA) and sanitation practices (e.g., HACCP, GMP, CIP)Strong leadership and team management skillsAbility to analyze and troubleshoot sanitation-related issues effectivelyExcellent communication and organizational skillsProficiency with sanitation equipment, tools, and cleaning chemicals used in food manufacturingEnglish Spanish bilingual, preferredCafe Valley is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to diversity in the workplace.
