What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Server position at Caffé Nonna?
We are looking for a team member to join us in continuing a 20-year long legacy of Caffé Nonna in Nashville. We are a dinner-only restaurant in the Sylvan Park area. Servers must have/will need to attain an ABC Server Permit. The team members who fill this position must be ones who love hosting and serving people.
Caffé Nonna is a Nashville Original, featured on Food Network and Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. We are Nashville’s home for special occasions, serving guests daily for birthday celebrations, anniversaries, engagements, and a Top 5 Date Spot. We aim to continue this legacy and only the kindest, most attentive wait staff will fit our culture.

What you will do:
- Curate memorable dining experiences for guests
- Work in tandem with other staff to ensure high level of touch and smooth operations during service hours
- Learn food and beverage menu, educating and informing guests of their options
- Work with POS and other systems to communicate with leadership, FOH and BOH teams
- Maintain all health and safety regulations to the highest degree, ensuring safety for all staff and guests
- Follow opening and closing checklists each shift
- Communicate clearly and efficiently
- Work with a sense of urgency and energy, without sacrificing client experience
- Support new team members through training and shadowing during onboarding processes
- Maintain high level of service standards

- Weekend Availability Required
- Monday-Saturday shifts available

Working conditions
Employee will be indoors in a controlled environment and will experience a moderate noise level. Employee will be working with restaurant equipment, as well as office equipment. Must be able to occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds. The employee must have the ability to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 10 hours a day.
