SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of the Relief Specialist is to sell, rotate, restock, reset, merchandise, build displays, special events, and assist with covering both sales and merchandising routes when needed by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represent company in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service and good relationship with each account.
- Restock cold boxes, displays, shelves and other areas where product is available for sale.
- Responsible for keeping back stock, cold box and displays rotated and in a clean and organized manner. Record all out of stock products.
- Responsible for executing chain programing.
- Assist with reset program as assigned.
- Responsible for price/tag management and for price realization.
- Responsible for adhering to out of date beer and product rotation policy.
- Adhere to company account and merchandising standards in all accounts.
- Create and transmit orders to maintain adequate inventory in each account.
- Maintain account history and data in route accounting system.
- Transmit customer orders and instructions utilizing order system accurately and within daily timeframes.
- Maintain a friendly, working relationship with the Manager on each account. Effectively communicate to the Store Manager about new products, price promotions and opportunities.
- Visit each account as assigned to assist with receiving delivery.
- Establish and maintain relationship with delivery driver and merchandiser to foster teamwork and cooperation.
- Listens to and resolves service complaints.
- Maintain confidentiality of sales figures for your accounts and for certain chains you may service.
- Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, and other sources.
- Maintain safe driving record and comply with company policy.
- Adhere to safety standards and policies at all times.
- Submit daily and weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for orders, requests, displays, and other business transactions.
- Submit display execution through appropriate tracking system.
- Maintain proper SKU, feature and tap management in assigned accounts balancing customer needs and company objectives.
- Ensure POS is current and in good working order.
- Where appropriate, inspect all draft lines, faucets, and couplers and ensure line cleaning sticker in account is current.
- Communicates with Territory Manager and/or Area Delivery Manager/ Delivery Driver to resolve customer problems, opportunities, competitive activity in your market, and potential overage situations.
- Attend all scheduled meetings and company functions as required.
- Adhere to dress code at all times.
- Obey all Federal, State, and local laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Equivalent to complete, accredited apprenticeship or equivalent to high school education plus a two-year technical education. One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
