Reporting to the Deputy Director and working closely with the Founder / Executive Director and the California Film Institute (CAFILM) team, the Education Director oversees and promotes the development of the education programs of the California Film Institute. These programs provide youth and community members with the opportunity to learn about the world through film.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Development :
- Oversee the development of film and filmmaking educational programming consistent with CAFILM’s mission and strategic vision.
- Develop strategies and plans for the growth and deepening of CAFILM Education programs.
- Develop concepts and designs for funding proposals.
Service Delivery and Supervision :

The general operations manager (seasonal : April - November) will work collaboratively with all departments and key stakeholders in ensuring the overall success of the annual MVFF and DocLands Film Festival.
