In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the production area while also ensuring that stock levels are adequately maintained. Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and work surfaces according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Regularly inspect and maintain the cleanliness of the production area, including floors, walls, ceilings, and storage areas.
- Follow proper handling and disposal procedures for waste, garbage, and recycling.
- Stock and replenish supplies, raw materials, and packaging materials as needed to support uninterrupted production.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to monitor stock levels and ensure adequate supply for production operations.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and report any equipment issues or maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all food safety and quality control standards and assist in maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist with receiving and inspecting incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Participate in training programs related to safety, sanitation, and proper handling of equipment and materials.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a food manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment used in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
