Driver

Job Title: Driver

The Driver is responsible for timely delivery of product to the retail locations while ensuring that deliveries are completed within the required time. Drivers are also accurately completing all required documentation and maintaining the trucks, racks, and baskets per Dunkin’ Donuts standards. The Driver must work with the Kitchen Manager and/or Assistant Kitchen Manager to ensure that the product packing meets delivery needs.

Responsibilities Include (but Not Limited To) The Following

• Communicate with Kitchen Manager and / or Assistant Kitchen Manager about customer complaints and/or comments regarding product quality, delivery, or service
• Review delivery times and be alert to any potential issues with the meeting of schedules
• Periodically audit the packing of orders and communicate any discrepancies to the Production Supervisor
• Communicate to the Kitchen Manager and/or the Assistant Kitchen Manager any concerns that impede the ability to perform driving tasks
• Verify that the trucks, racks, and baskets meet cleanliness, maintenance, and sanitation standards
• Report to work on time, in a clean, complete uniform, and maintain satisfactory personal hygiene
• Execute safety guidelines throughout the delivery shift
• Report any business and personal moving violations to Kitchen Manager and/or Assistant Kitchen Manager
• Strictly adhere to all company policies and procedures as well as Department of Transportation regulations
  
  

Qualification

• Licensed driver with satisfactory driving record
• Knowledge of basic mathematics and reading (English) skills
• Knowledge of delivery and routing systems
• Ability to train new drivers
• Good interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Bilingual in Spanish helpful
• Sense of urgency
