Position Overview :
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Surveyor in Training (SIT) to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in surveying within the land development industry. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of experienced surveyors and engineers, contributing to various projects within the industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential markets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in conducting land surveys and measurements for CAGE projects.
- Operate and maintain surveying instruments and equipment, including total stations, GPS units, and laser levels.
- Collect and record accurate data for project planning and design purposes.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accurate implementation of survey data.
- Conduct site visits to monitor and verify the accuracy of construction activities and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Support the senior surveyor in ALTA / NSPS Land Title Surveys, boundaries, topographic surveys, as-built surveys, and various types of Plats (Subdivisions, Easements, Dedication, etc.).
- Learn and adhere to industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance surveying skills and knowledge.
