What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Paralegal position at Cagle Pugh, Ltd. LLP?
Cagle Pugh is a full-service law firm built by native Texans for the express purpose of serving Texas community associations and businesses.
We are currently looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal. The ideal candidates will have experience in civil litigation, trial preparation, document management, calendaring, and managing a heavy workload for multiple attorneys.
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft answers, notices, affidavits, motions and petitions, correspondence, and discovery requests;
- Prepare and coordinate document production and responses to discovery requests;
- Analyze, review and organize documents and data from materials produced during discovery;
- Schedule depositions, hearings, trials, and mediations;
- Anticipate important deadlines and manage attorney calendar regarding deadlines;
- Prepare responses to audit requests;
- Communicate clearly and concisely with clients, potential clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel;
- Manage and adjust to interruptions, multiple projects with frequently changing priorities.
- Monitor and manage document management system;
- E-file and E-serve case documents;
- Prepare Trial Notebooks;
- Enter time in billing system daily
Insurance Defense experience is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
