Job Summary:
We are seeking an ambitious, highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Management Analyst to support the Armys Mid-Range Capability (MRC) program. This is a full-time, Government-site position on Redstone Arsenal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Financial Management Analyst responsible for planning, managing, reviewing, and coordinating the program planning, execution, evaluation, and financial management functions of the assigned program.
- Coordinate with the Product Office Management in the development of and implementation of plans and objectives to assure that actions are in keeping with the overall objectives of the program.
- Review and analyze program progress, coordinate reports, and manage financial budgeting. Conduct evaluations, collect and analyze data from various sources, and present program information for management and DoD-level reviews.
- Review and analyze program schedules, reports, and data to assess status, identify slippages, and provide timely updates to leadership. Investigate causes of delays, recommend corrective actions, and ensure program requirements are met through coordination and adjustments.
- Develop and optimize reporting systems to measure progress, ensure compliance with regulations, and improve efficiency by analyzing requirements, streamline procedures, and recommend reporting modifications.
- Coordinate and review reports to ensure compliance with policies and consistency with project data. Prepare briefing materials, conduct meetings, and provide analysis and guidance to support product office management.
- Perform budgeting duties across the development, acquisition, and deployment phases of assigned systems, including analyzing major funding sources such as Research, Development, Test and Evaluation and Procurement Appropriations, work requirements, and program documentation. Develop budget methods, control program funding, and evaluate financial impacts on program milestones to ensure effective resource management.
Required Qualifications:
- BS or BA
- 3 years of experience in DoD financial management
- Experience with Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCaR)
- Experience with General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS) &/or Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) (Shared Data Warehouse/Electronic Data Access)
- Active DoD SECRET security clearance
