Swimming Pool Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of swimming pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and functioning properly. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in various outdoor environments.

Duties

• Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces.
• Inspect and maintain pool equipment, such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical feeders.
• Conduct water quality tests and adjust chemical levels as necessary to ensure safe swimming conditions.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with pool equipment using hand tools and power tools.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding maintenance schedules and any necessary repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed on each pool.
• Follow safety protocols while working in various environments to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.

Skills

• Proficiency in pool cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in work areas.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Previous experience as a service technician in pool maintenance is a plus but not required.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
