Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their overall well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to client care, as well as the ability to work effectively with individuals who may have dementia.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition.
- Provide reminders for medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Help clients with meal planning and preparation.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with office staff and family members regarding client status.
Skills
- Ability to lift clients safely and assist with mobility needs.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with dementia.
- Strong client care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards clients' needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and coworkers.
- Ability to perform client monitoring tasks diligently while ensuring client comfort and safety.
- Knowledge of home care practices that promote independence for clients while providing necessary support.
