Cahoots is looking for someone to lead the business as it continues to evolve and grow as a downtown staple in Ann Arbor. We are a modern workspace with a lively community, a bustling coffee shop, and an event space that always has something new happening. We're looking for a passionate self starter with an "I'll figure it out" attitude to manage the business soup to nuts.
Core responsibilities
The Cahoots manager is a true jack of all trades, handling a wide array of responsibilities from making coffee and fixing WiFi, to engaging with members and creating captivating social content. They ensure the smooth functioning of the space. Ultimately, the primary responsibility of a Cahoots manager is to provide an exceptional experience for members. They are the key drivers that make things happen, including taking on the following tasks:
- Operations: Resolving member issues, on/off-boarding members, managing coworking space software, managing basic administrative billing tasks, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Sales and marketing: Conducting targeted outreach, providing tours, following up with leads, and managing social media accounts to attract new members.
- Reception services: Answering calls, scheduling tours, welcoming members, and organizing incoming mail.
- Space management: Keeping the space clean and organized, coordinating building maintenance and upkeep, ensuring supplies are available, and maintaining a comfortable environment.
- Community management: Planning programming activities, hosting and managing logistics for events, mediating member disputes, and delivering exceptional customer service.
- HR & people management: Run semi-monthly payroll and manage yearly benefit updates, meet with staff regularly to ensure all areas of the business are running smoothly.

Salary range
- $68,000 to $78,000 plus benefits, including health insurance, dental insurance, 401k matching, access to on site health club, etc.
