TITLE: CAD Designer
REPORTS TO: Chief Technical Advisor
Job Summary: Prepares detailed drawings and pattern designs using CAD tools.
Job Duties:
Coordinates with HVAC Operations team members.
Organizes and schedules work to accomplish project goals while meeting project budgets and deadlines.
Maintains HVAC standards and drawing database.
Designs frameworks for a project and creates detailed design documentations.
Ensures drawings meet product design goals.
Suggests improvement to the product, based on initial design.
Aids in the selection of materials for the products.
Experience and Education:
Experience with HVAC fabrication, including duct/pipe spooling.
Experience with HVAC 3D.
Performs work under general supervision.
Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
Typically requires accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 2 to 4 years of experience.
Reports to: Typically reports to a department head or manager.
