Job Overview
Our Production Operator plays a vital role in crafting premium inks and pigmented ink products. In this position, you'll develop expertise across multiple production areas, including:
Managing raw material intake and processing, operating diverse manufacturing equipment, ensuring product quality standards, and handling customer order fulfillment. You'll gain comprehensive knowledge of our production process from start to finish, making you an essential part of our manufacturing team.
Duties
- Operate material handling equipment - forklifts, stackers, pallet jacks
- Gather materials for daily batch formulations
- Monitor process equipment – amps, temperature, conductivity checks
- Read and follow batch operational guide sheets issued through scheduling
- Ensure all materials are weighed correctly per the formulation
- Unload batches and transport material to proper storage areas
- Perform end of day cleanup of department and work areas daily, and as directed by supervision
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Ability to comprehend detailed verbal and written instruction and work with minimal supervision
- Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as climb stairs
- Ability to routinely carry up to 25lbs and frequently handle equipment in excess of 50lbs
- Willingness to work in extreme temperatures and dusty/dirty environments
- Forklift certification
