Compensation includes a base salary of $108,800.00 - $181,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. The Product Readiness Senior Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of go-to-market and post-launch plans for a portfolio of key initiatives. This role will partner closely with various product and business teams, as well as across broader COX organizational boundaries to ensure that all goals and milestones are met. This role will report to the Director, Product Readiness and will be instrumental in building out readiness practices, processes, and success measures across the I5 Product organization.
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a combination of software product knowledge, operational knowledge, stakeholder consultation, user experience, and project management skills. He/she must also be a strong people influencer and driver for a shared future vision, collaborating with and/or guiding the work of teams that include product managers, business operations, auction operations, change management, sales, performance management, project/program management, marketing, client care, professional services and implementation teams to ensure a successful launch occurs for both internal and external clients.
What You'll Do
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Product Launch Leadership: Lead development and communication of comprehensive go-to-market launch and post-launch plans. May also include developing, leading and communicating the go-to-market efforts around sunsetting products.
- Readiness Project Management: Work across organizational boundaries to ensure that all go-to-market goals and critical milestones are met. Work collaboratively with program and project managers whenever applicable.
- Operational Readiness: Work collaboratively with business operations, program/project management, operational readiness and other teams to ensure a product is able to be properly marketed, sold, contracted, installed, trained, billed, supported, analyzed for utilization and canceled. Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders around key BAU activities.
- Defining Success: Works with Operational leaders, Product Management, Product Marketing and Product Analytics teams to ensure success of product launches can be measured. Establish / strengthen proper internal controls to ensure compliance of established procedures.
- VOC: Keeps the voice and perspective of the customer present in the product process for in-market operations.
- Training and Support Alignment: Aids Product Management to ensure that training, sales, support teams, auctions, client services and installation teams have the facts to effectively plan for, train and support a new product/solution or enhancement(s) being delivered to market.
- Process Improvement: Drives processes that elevate our go-to-marketing planning and ensure operational readiness for product launches.
- People Management: No direct reports initially, but role may grow to manage the work of 1-2 direct reports in the future
- Travel required up to 20%
Who You Are:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of related experience with a minimum of 3 years of management experience a plus or 12 years experience in lieu of degree.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams. Comfortable in leading through influence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable communicating with stakeholders, regardless of level.
- Experience in project management. PMP or similar certification a plus
- Awareness of and/or experience in Agile or Scrum or Kanban
- Knowledgeable in change management principles. Proven experience in managing change across multiple parts of a single organization and across organizational boundaries
- Experience in client expectation and relationship management, both for internal and external clients
