Job Description
We are looking for an Assembly Operator to perform duties related to assembly, using technical equipment, and meet standards for quality and productivity in a warehouse environment. This role is a full-time 12 month contract and on-site. Mon-Thurs 6am-4pm.
What You'll Do
Read and follow drawings/prints and work instructions
Become proficient in all assembly and special processes as required.
Gather and record data accurately
Detect, correct errors and utilize company communication and quality methodology
Meet documented and communicated standards for quality and productivity
May be required to use technical equipment, for example comparator, microscope, and other measuring equipment,
Cross-train in other departments as needed
What You'll Need
Required:
1-2 years of related work experience is preferable
Detail-oriented individual with multi-tasking abilities
Ability to work under general supervision
Can communicate clearly both written and verbally in English
Ability to work in a seated or standing position for extended period of time
This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee
Physical Demands:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Occasional sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Regularly required to:
Work on powered and non-powered equipment (e.g. forklift, golf cart, pallet jack)
Maneuver packages / material of any weight with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person
Work from a secured ladder.
Push, pull squat, bend and reach
Lift a minimum of 50 pounds
