This role emphasizes hands-on technical expertise, focusing on infrastructure design, implementation, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable and secure operations. The Infrastructure Manager provides guidance to the infrastructure team and oversees key infrastructure projects.
What You'll Do
Lead and support the infrastructure team, fostering collaboration and technical growth while overseeing key projects
Configure, optimize, and maintain systems, including virtual machines, storage solutions and network components
Act as the escalation point for complex infrastructure issues, guiding troubleshooting processes
Implement and manage cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions to ensure reliability, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements
Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and implement automation to improve efficiency and streamline operations
Collaborate with the IT Security team to maintain secure and compliant infrastructure environments
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure processes and configurations
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to execute projects and support evolving organizational needs
Manage IT Infrastructure Operations after-hours support coverage
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to infrastructure strategies
What You'll Need
Required
Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or ARM templates
Strong understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization technologies
Familiarity with mid-range network configurations and cloud security practices
Hands-on experience with Azure services and Kubernetes
Strong communication abilities to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud engineering
Proven experience in managing hybrid environments and implementing cloud solutions
Desired
Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate) preferred
ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is a plus
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
