Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations, ensure safety compliance, and drive efficiency on the production floor. This role is responsible for managing production supervisors, platform managers, and a large team of indirect reports while maintaining a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment, enhance safety systems, and enforce accountability for safety practices. Ensure adherence to company policies, OSHA regulations, and workplace safety standards.
- Leadership & Team Management: Directly manage five Production Supervisors and Platform Managers, with oversight of approximately 50 indirect reports. Conduct performance evaluations, training, and development initiatives.
- Operational Excellence: Schedule, prioritize, and control all production activities to maximize quality and efficiency. Identify and allocate workforce across production lines and shifts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Production Planning, Quality, Engineering, Human Resources, Cost Accounting, and IT departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Manufacturing Process & Compliance: Document manufacturing processes, uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and support product specifications and packaging requests.
- Resource & Inventory Management: Assist in production planning, machine scheduling, and raw material requisitioning to meet production demands.
- Budget & Staffing: Develop and maintain staffing plans and budgets to align with business objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices in production planning, efficiency optimization, and process improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of supervisory experience managing teams of at least three direct reports.
- Expertise in inventory control, production scheduling, and planning.
- Preferred experience with ISO standards and compliance.
- Proficiency in Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Total Quality Control (TQC), and Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows-based programs.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations, Worker’s Compensation laws, and employee relations best practices.
- Advanced mechanical understanding of manufacturing machinery and operational processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
