CAI is seeking an experienced Software Engineer who has extensive experience with session management in .NET Core web development, C#, and SQL databases. This is an onsite long term contract position with a major client based in Boise, Idaho.
Only local candidates to the Boise, Idaho area will be considered.
We are seeking a highly motivated, and detail-oriented IT professional to join our team. The successful candidate must have four (4) plus years of experience with session management in .NET Core, C#, SQL, and development experience using MVC framework. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with the latest technology, long-term stability, and great work/life balance!
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Session management in .Net Core web development will be a big part of the job.
- Reviewing, understanding, and implementing defined customer requirements.
- Reviewing, understanding, and correcting identified problems.
- Testing and verification of operation consistent with user requirements.
- Source Code meeting companies' quality standards and in conformance with established procedures.
- Release of object code meeting companies' quality standards and in conformance with established procedures.
- Interacting with technical and non-technical staff as needed in the execution of the above in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- The scope of this work is to develop software systems for a major automotive client.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Experience with session management in .NET Core (key part of this role)- 4 Years of experience required
- C#/.NET experience in a web-based and desktop environment- 4 years of experience required
- Development experience w/SQL database backend- 4 years of experience required
- Development experience using MVC framework- 4 years of experience required
- Experience creating and calling Rest APIs- 4 years of experience required
- Experience with Visual Studio- 4 years of experience required
- Experience with TFS- 4 years of experience required
- Experience with Azure DevOps Server- 3 years of experience required
- Experience with work ticket management systems- 4 years of experience required
- Experience working with data communication between disparate systems- 4 years of experience required
- Experience programming of major enhancement features and bug fixes to existing systems- 4 years of experience required
- Experience communicating verbally & in writing with non-technical business subject matter experts, stakeholders and project managers- 4 years of experience required
- Exceptional communication skills (verbally and in writing) to communicate with other developers, system architects, and technical managers is crucial- 4 years of experience required
- Prior experience with the following systems is a must, including Work ticket management system; Visual Studio; TFS; Microsoft Azure DevOps- 2 years of experience required
