Job Description
We are looking for a Sr. IT Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment. This position will be full-time and hybrid in Houston, TX.
What You'll Need
Required :
8 years of experience in IT program or project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle, cloud technologies, and emerging technologies
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
Strong ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization
Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify and address issues
Excellent interpersonal and written / oral communication skills, with the ability to interact with staff at all levels
Strong knowledge of personal computers and various software, specifically Microsoft Office
Strategic thinker with a high level of initiative and drive
Results-oriented with a focus on delivering business value
Collaborative team player with a strong customer-service orientation
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
Preferred :
Master’s degree or PMP certification, PgMP (Program Management Professional), or similar certifications are highly desirable
Expertise in enterprise-level IT systems, cloud solutions, and software implementation projects
Experience in managing programs with global or multi-regional teams
Strong financial acumen and experience managing large-scale program budgets
Ability to navigate and adapt to changing priorities and business needs in a fast-paced environment
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
