Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and experience with driving box trucks or similar vehicles. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional service.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns during the delivery process.
• Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining necessary signatures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar courier role is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Familiarity with using delivery tracking systems or apps is advantageous.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including potential overtime as needed.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
