Caila’s Cleaning Crew is seeking enthusiastic employees to join our fun, friendly crew of cleaners. We’re a rapidly-growing cleaning company servicing the Lee’s Summit, Greenwood, and Independence, MO, areas. We clean private residences, locally-owned businesses, and churches. As a cleaner for Caila’s Cleaning Crew, you’ll be responsible for completing a wide range of cleaning duties for our clients and making sure every job is done to the Caila’s Cleaning Crew standard. Duties will include vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, and bathroom and kitchen services. Attention to detail and a positive attitude are a must. The right person is punctual, adaptable, thorough but fast, and eager to learn.

Cleaner Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for all basic cleaning tasks in private residences, offices, churches, and other commercial buildings according to client and company specifications.
• Cleans floors, including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, moving light pieces of furniture, and picking small objects off the floor.
• Cleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping floors, scrubbing showers and tubs, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
• Emptying trash, replacing liners, and taking trash to the appropriate receptacle.
• Cleans kitchens, including wiping counters and backsplashes, cleaning inside and outside of appliances, moving small kitchen appliances/canisters/etc., scrubbing sinks and stovetops, cleaning cabinet fronts, and sweeping and mopping floors.
• Cleans living areas, including dusting, moving small objects and light pieces of furniture, straightening linens, changing sheets, cleaning glass doors and inside of windows, and vacuuming and mopping.
• Maintains cleaning equipment and supplies as needed. Restocks own supplies from company storeroom.
• Communicates promptly and effectively about changes on the job, client requests, etc.
• Reports damage and needed repairs promptly.

Cleaner Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or GED (required)
• Transportation: insured, reliable car and valid driver’s license (required)
• Work Authorizations: United States (required)
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions
• Ability to work well alone and with a partner or team
• Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties
• Excellent time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Organized and able to follow a schedule
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk for 8-hour shifts, with ability to stand for long lengths of time; physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time; ability to lift up to 25-30 pounds
• General knowledge of cleaning products, supplies, and techniques for cleaning
