Job Description

Cain & Company is looking for a talented and experienced graphic designer to work within a creative team to help support the needs of our primarily industrial clients. We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail oriented, and has excellent design and production skills. This position requires someone who has the knowledge and expertise to easily create new concepts as well as continue creative on a previously developed theme in accordance with brand standards, and the ability to complete a project in its entirety from beginning to end. The ideal candidate will value teamwork, collaborate effectively with others, and demonstrate creative excellence in completing projects from start to finish. You’ll work independently as well as cooperatively with our creative team to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include work on several projects simultaneously.

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize internally with our team or with clients on a wide range of materials that may include brochures, advertising, web pages, presentations, programming collateral, packaging, signage, internal communications, newsletters, and marketing materials.
• Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity.
• Develop concepts by hand or with software and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout.
• Use trend intelligence and working knowledge of historical and current markets when designing and executing specific classifications.
• Production of technical materials

Skills/Qualifications

• Degree in design or related field; preferred 3-5 years’ experience in graphic design (preferably in an advertising agency setting or in-house design team)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
• Strong understanding of working with clients and their evolving needs
• Experience in video production and editing (not a necessity but a huge plus)
