Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) with wound care experience to join our mobile healthcare team. This role requires a go-getter with a strong understanding of wound debridement and the ability to see the big picture of how amniotic placental grafts can enhance patient outcomes. This is a mobile role, requiring travel to various patient locations within Tulare, Fresno, Merced, and Modesto to provide specialized wound care treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic wounds.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective wound care.
- Educate patients and families on wound prevention, care techniques, and self-management.
- Monitor wound healing progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and stay updated on advancements in wound care.
- Travel to provide onsite and mobile wound care treatment.
Requirements:
- Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Active NP license and certification in California.
- Experience in wound care and debridement techniques.
- Strong clinical, communication, and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel to multiple locations for patient care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in wound care (e.g., Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Certification).
- Experience with EHR / EMR systems.
- Knowledge of advanced wound care products and technologies.
