Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic wounds.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective wound care.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on wound prevention, care techniques, and self-management.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of wound healing, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and stay current with advancements in wound care.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctorate in Nursing with a specialization as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Current state NP license and certification.
- Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on wound care.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Travel will be required to provide onsite and mobile wound care treatment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in wound care (e.g., Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Certification).
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Knowledge of the latest wound care products and technologies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
