Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our mobile wound care team. In this role, you will provide advanced wound care treatment to patients primarily in their homes, ensuring high-quality care and promoting optimal healing outcomes.
You will meet at our physical clinic in Fayetteville, AR, at the beginning and end of each shift, and travel to approximately eight patient visits per day. Our company utilizes cutting-edge wound care techniques, including artificial, stem-cell, and growth factor skin substitutes, allowing you to apply innovative treatments in a home-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized wound care services to patients in their homes, managing acute and chronic wounds with advanced treatment modalities.
- Utilize state-of-the-art wound care techniques, including artificial, stem-cell, and growth factor skin substitutes, to optimize healing.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and adjust treatment protocols as needed.
- Collaborate with regional clinical and operations teams to ensure exceptional care delivery.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.
- Educate patients and caregivers on wound management, prevention strategies, and overall health maintenance.
- Travel daily to patient homes within the designated area using your personal vehicle (car allowance provided).
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Arkansas.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in wound care, home health, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of wound care management, including debridement, infection control, and advanced dressing applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to travel within the assigned region and provide care in various home environments.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
