Duties

- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring adherence to prescribed routines.
- Lift and transfer clients safely while maintaining their dignity and comfort.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support clients in social activities and community engagement to promote socialization.
- Uphold resident rights by respecting privacy, confidentiality, and personal preferences.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as senior care, home care, or long-term care is preferred.
- Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients effectively.
- Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach towards clients.
- Ability to lift clients safely and perform physical tasks associated with caregiving.
- A background in social work or related fields can be beneficial but is not required.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
