Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence while respecting their rights and dignity.
- Observe and report changes in clients' physical and emotional conditions to appropriate personnel.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients at all times.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
Experience
- Previous experience in a caregiving role within group homes or assisted living facilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with patient observation techniques and patient care standards.
- Knowledge of resident rights and advocacy for individuals with disabilities is essential.
- Experience in social work or related fields is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities and understand their unique needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
