Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Community Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will assist with maintaining a positive living environment for residents while ensuring the property is well-managed and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer service orientation, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Managing property leasing processes, including negotiating lease agreements and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Help oversee property maintenance, coordinating repairs and upkeep to ensure a comfortable and appealing environment for residents.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing resident inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry of resident information, lease agreements, and maintenance requests.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants and retain current residents.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Facilitate communication between residents and management, fostering a sense of community within the property.
- Assist in collecting balances owed and help oversee the evictions process.
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage lease agreements and resolve conflicts.
- Ability to multitask, handle high stress situations, and time sensitive situations.
- Knowledge of property leasing laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all transactions.
- Experience in property management is preferred.
- Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication with residents and vendors.
- Proficiency in legal administrative tasks related to property management documentation.
- Sales skills to promote available units and enhance resident retention efforts.
- Exceptional customer service abilities to create a welcoming environment for residents.
- Proficient data entry skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the community's operations.
