Responsibilities & Duties
Warehouse Operator Responsibilities:
- Signing for shipments upon receipt and verifying that the correct product has been received.
- Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and delivery to proper location.
- Thoroughly inspect the product for any damage and discrepancies.
- Maintaining an accurate record of all inventories received and distributed.
- Move inventory and materials across warehouses.
- Using forklifts, hand carts, or pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stack, and arrange Inventory accordingly.
- Strategically storing the inventory to maximize storage space within the warehouse.
- Promptly processing distribution orders or requests, which includes retrieving specified items from storage.
- Update logs and documentation for inventory processing.
- Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory.
- Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from warehouse, production area and storage.
- Supports DTC with packing, sealing, and labeling products accordingly.
- Work as an active team member to complete team goals and projects.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two years warehouse experience preferred.
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well individually and as a member of a team.
- Forklift experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations including addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Availability to work in different shifts, including weekends.
- The ability to safely operate warehouse machinery and equipment, record keeping, sanitation, planning, and managing workflow.
