Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and specials.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the cash register.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to ensure the health and safety of our patrons.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is essential.
- Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register is beneficial.
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and menu items is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
