Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of color theory and experience in both residential and commercial painting. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes. The Painter will also be responsible for fixture installation and may assist with maintenance person tasks as needed.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Interpret and follow schematics to ensure accurate application of color and design.
- Install fixtures and perform minor repairs as part of the renovation process.
- Work on construction sites to complete painting tasks in a timely manner.
- Utilize caulking techniques to seal gaps and improve the durability of painted surfaces.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to achieve project goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Painter with a portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Strong knowledge of color theory and application techniques.
- Familiarity with commercial painting practices is preferred.
- Experience with stucco application is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to painting projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
