Overview
We are looking for a plumber to estimate and oversee projects for a commercial plumbing contractors. Our projects include retail tenant improvement projects, office build outs and hotel renovations. If you have installation experience in these fields, we want to hire you.
Responsibilities
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop project schedules and timelines.
- Utilize software tools such as ProCore, Prolog, Bluebeam, and Primavera for project management and estimation tasks.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals to clients, ensuring clarity in scope and pricing.
- Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as necessary throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain organized records of all estimates, proposals, and correspondence related to projects.
Skills
- Proficient in project scheduling techniques with experience in tools like Primavera.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with project management software such as ProCore or Prolog is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost estimation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
