Medical Office Receptionist

Meets needs of staff and resident children of Boys Ranch campus by maintaining medical records, scheduling appointments for staff and residents to be seen by a campus health professional and verifying medical insurance before appointments. Responsible for providing comprehensive support for Boys Ranch Clinic to include assisting in data management, documentation, and correspondence. Assist with data entry, transporting residents to on and off campus appointments, pickup and delivery of prescriptions, medications, labs and x-ray films as assigned by the Medical Operations Manager. Responsible for maintaining correct insurance information in Electronic Health Records Systems and for maintaining Medicaid applications.

Requirements

A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and related software is required.

Proficiency in general office equipment operation is required.

Some Office Experience Preferred But Not Required.

Bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand/eye coordination, pushing/pulling, prolonged sitting/standing.

Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.

Must be available for travel as needed.

Must possess a valid Texas driver's license.

Must be at least 21 years of age.
