Student Manager - Facility Supervisors (University Union)
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director - Facility Operations (University Union), the student manager is responsible for managing the facility supervisor team. This position supervises a staff of 10 to 20 and works closely with the university union leadership team. This position requires effective communication with staff and participants regarding programs, services, policies, and emergency response.

In order to maximize the student manager's personal development and ensure that their experience with ASI is broad based, incumbents will be assigned additional responsibilities beyond their specific program or staff area.

RequirementsEducational Requirements and Qualifying Experience
- Must be a currently enrolled student at Cal Poly with a minimum of 6 units. Graduate students must carry 4 units.
- Exhibit a developed sense of critical thinking, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to stay focused while working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to change.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others or independently, as the situation requires.

Period of Employment
If hired, student managers must commit to a minimum of 9 weeks of employment over summer quarter. Employment with this organization is of an "at will" nature, which means that the employee may resign at any time and ASI may discharge the employee at any time with or without cause.
